One of our favorite bloggers, TB Rants’n Raves has posted her final thoughts on True Blood Season 4′s finale, simply titled, “Watching Sucks”!
But before you head on over there, we wanted to express how sad and disappointed we are by what she says. We’re not disagreeing with her. We understand COMPLETELY about how she feels and her decision. We will support her either way.
This is what she said…
I’m not joking when I say I am done with this show. I’m sure I will catch a few future episodes of True Blood here and there. But I will not be watching it every week and I will not be blogging about it next year.
No wonder we’re disappointed, right? We’re sure you will be too!
Go on over there and read what she says. She does bring up some great points about the plot-holes, character destruction, etc…we’re sure you’ll agree!

Thanks TB Rants’n Raves for voicing what many of us have felt, thought and for sharing it with us in the past! We know you’re not alone in your decision and all we can say is this: we wish you nothing but the best and can’t wait to read what you write about the Sookie Stackhouse novels!

I agree with every word she says. And me, I’m also done. The good thing about the show is that I discovered the books and ASkars because of it
I’ll always be Alex’s fan and try to see all of his movies when they are showed in theaters. The books hold three of my favorite literature characters and I refuse to watch this show destroy them any further.
Sadly, a lot of people will be saying goodbye. I’m still on the fence myself.
I agree with everything she said. This season was supposed to be based on book 4 but it became a mess, a destruction of characters. The only good thing, seeing ASkars for 10 min or less and pulling through 4 episodes wearing that hideous purple hoodie and still looking sexy. I think I will still see it as long as Alexander Skarsgård is in the series, once he leaves, I’m done, but I’m so sick of Ball’s obsession of making Beehl the main character.
I’m sure once he leaves, the show will be done anyway.
i agreeeeeeeeeeeee i feel so happy and not alone anymore w my thoughts….
thanks for make this amazing review… i love it!
Sure Waiting Does SUCK!
But what can one do?
You can imerse yourself in Season 5 by reading the book
over again, you can read and try to figure out the spoilers
that come down the highway from the writers/websites
and you can try to figure them out by the cluses they
Sometimes give us?? Not ALL Spoilers ARE REAL!!!
Some maybe Phony & Some NOT?
how acan one tell??~ YOU CAN”t!
you always seem so over excited, I honestly don´t know why…AB has made a mess of the show…sorry to say that, but its true, and I think a lot of people are going to stop watching the show, AB has enraged one of the huge fanbases of the show- the book readers- many are pissed and are probably done now…
Because some people still have hope, as I said before, you’re entitled to your own opinions, but not everyone has to feel the same way.
Watching sucks, not waiting.
Once again, I agree with most of the other posters and with the review. I also am on the fence when it comes to this show. I think I will still watch next season, if only to catch the return of Russell, since I really like the way the Dennis plays him.
But I truly feel that my “love” for this show has faded to the point that I really don’t care about the E,S & B triangle anymore. I will ALWAYS love the dynamics of the books and will ALWAYS love Alex. But for TB, I think the “bloom has faded from the rose” and depending how assinine they make the show, I’ll probably quit watching TB too.
It’s a shame what AB has done to us…I (like the blogger) started watching the show before I discover CH books…the reason I started reading the books is because I love the show and I wanted to find out more about Eric Northman. After reading the Sookie series I felt in love with all the characters…believed me if I say that once in a while I felt like slapping Sookie upside the head…but book Sookie it’s smarter and not helpless like TB Sookie…and don’t get me start with Bill…UGH!! I can sometimes like and even feel sorry for book Bill, but TB Bill…I will give him the true death myself…Eric and Pam I do love….book or show…I hate what AB has done to their relationship…keeping Lafayette alive was the best thing he has done…and even that he is messing up now. Jessica is a great character and the only thing he is doing with her is converting her in a horny, hungry vampire…that girl has so much potential….and Bill that he likes so much…it’s making him even less likable. Those writer need to be fired…I don’t know what HBO it’s thinking…I don’t know what CH it’s thinking…I know that she is making tons of money…but come on!!! How can you don’t care about what AB and Co are doing to her beloved characters…I hope the the only reason she doesn’t say anything is because she is not allow by contract. I’m on the fence about watching next season…I said to my friend after the final I was done…but I love AS so much that I will be sad on not seen him anymore…will see after the premier. I hope someone in HBO reads all this blogs and kick AB to the curve. This man shouldn’t be allow to adapt no ones work anymore. I hope this is a lesson to all writers (especially CH). I’ll keep my fingers cross.
