12/14: Quopic of the Day

Sorry, I haven’t posted the Quopic of the Day as much lately. As I told you before, there’s been some drama at work and I seem to be caught in the middle (though I don’t remember how).

Anyways, there’s one scene which we think you might like as today’s Quopic of the Day!

Are you ready?

Here’s the Quopic of the Day for December 14th!

I loved this whole scene between Eric and Sookie…but there’s one thing that I don’t understand…how in the hell can Sookie say, ‘no’ to him? I know I would be saying, ‘yes’!

What are your thoughts? Share ‘em below!

  1. She’s saying no verbally but her body is saying yes… :) I loved this interatction because after this he tells her that there are two Sookie Stackhouses. Even though it was early in the season, you can already tell that he’s totally in love with her and she’s just fighting it.

Personally, I’d be jumping him myself… but ya know, that’s just me (and probably a million other women). :D

  2. Sookie’s always been very stubborn. She would rather trust Bill with her life, who has nearly gotten her killed more times than Eric ever has.

    • Maybe at the beginning of S4 but after everything that transpired in S4, I’d like to believe that she’d trust Eric maybe even more. I guess we’ll see. Who knows, with Alcide in the picture, AB is likely to have her run to him over the both of them. That would be enough to get me to stop watching.

  3. What I can’t understand is why Sookie always holds Eric to a higher standard. With Bill it’s always “oh yes Bill, anything you say Bill, let anyone beat me up Bill, I apologize Bill even if I haven’t done anything to apologize for.” With Eric it is always no, no, no. Oh yeah now I remember why its because of an arrogant little man named Alan Ball who could care less what the fans would like to see.

    • Actually this isn’t a bad thing. If you don’t expect much from someone, you don’t hold them to a higher standard so you aren’t disappointed. You also don’t hold people you don’t love to a higher standard.

    • asfandancer, this is exactly the same problem I have with true blood, bill always gets away with everything, while every deed of eric gets emphasized on; sookie didn´t even think a lot about what bill has done to her and even asked for his forgiveness, its just so damn stupid!!!

      • There’s a difference between asking his forgiveness and not holding him to a higher standard. These are not the same thing.

Not holding him to a higher standard means she just doesn’t think he’s capable of it which says a lot about who she thinks he is. It’s pretty damning and after everything that’s happened, I can see how she’d reach that determination.

The apology nonsense is something else altogether.

  4. This dialogue was great. Eric asked her to be “his” – in opposition to Bill who simply claimed her as his in season one! I love all he said to her, he even said that he cared about her (a human!) and wanted her to live. I mean, this comes very close to him telling her that he loved her. And he bought the house not solely because of selfish reasons, but because her brother would have sold it without even knowing for sure that she was dead! Eric kept it for her since he always knew that she’d be back. If that’s not love, I don’t know what is. Stupid, stupid Sookie!
Also, in my opinion Eric’s behavior in this scene was very Viking/medieval when he offered her his protection in return for … everything!!! (she could give him)
    *shiver with pleasure*
It reminded me of a scene in Dead to the World, when Eric’s upset that Sookie, as an unmarried woman, doesn’t live under her brother’s protection in his household. Endearing!

  5. I love Eric in this episode, he was so handsome in his new haircut and ordinary t-shirt that he always manage to make it look spectacular. I’m running out of patience with Sookie and AB- so am still sticking to “read review first and decide whether to watch later” approach for Season 5. I hope Charlaine Harris will not break our hearts too at the end and be heartless as AB.

  6. SOOKIE STUPID . I WOUID HAVE JUMPED ON HIM IN A HEARTBEAT . ERIC IS IN TOTALLY IN LOVE WITH HER . GIRL LET HIM PROVIDE THE PROTECTION AND EVERYTHING ELSE THAT COME WITH IT . I LOVED THAT HE ASKED HER AND NOT TOLD HER . HER FRIENDS , HER FAMILY AND BILL COMPTON DIDN`T EVEN KNOW IF SHE WAS ALIVE OR DEAD . BUT ERIC DID . HE BOUGHT THAT HOUSE FOR HER HAD WORK DONE ON IT PAINTED ETC …… AND ALL HE WANTED WAS FOR HER TO LOVE HIM AND PROTECT HER . ERIC IS THE BETTER VAMPIRE FOR HER HE CARES MORE THAN SHE WANT TO KNOW …….TEAM ERIC ALL THE WAY /./ I LOVE THIS SCENE AND ALL THE QUOPICS I SAVE THEM ALL .

  7. I have never understood why people freaked out over Eric buying her house. When I realized what he’d done I went all melty and sort of awwwww, sweet widdle… ahh… big vampire. I guess most of those people don’t understand the costs associated with a house even after the mortgage is paid? Or the fact that Jason was selling the house out from under her and it was obvious that Bill didn’t give a damn what was going to happen until Sookie came back and he could make grand gestures in front of her again.

And this scene where Eric finally comes clean so to speak is adorable. Sookie keeps expecting him to do what Bill does and shush her or tell her to keep quiet or something and he just keep encouraging her to misbehave by keeping the banter going.

—>pay attention Sookie. This is what someone who loves you for you does!

And I am SO glad he asked her to be his prior to losing his memory.

    • Eric always speaks his mind…..you know up front what his motives are and also he is in love with he but he just about says everything but the words because this is the first time in his life he just wants to be with another person because he loves spending time with her.

Also he is not a hypocrite like bill that says one thing but lies about everything else to get his advantage.

      • I think Eric did a lot of growing during that time Sookie was gone but still struggles with how to tell her how he feels and because it’s been such a short time for Sookie, she’s just not aware that Eric could have developed such strong feelings.

“Also he is not a hypocrite like bill that says one thing but lies about everything else to get his advantage.”

No. When Eric witholds something, it usually makes him look worse and then when the truth comes out, you realize that Eric was the good guy all along. He is the polar opposite of Bill. .

  8. All these great pics just make me pissed all over again. Get a clue Alan Ballsack!
