Yep, I saw on FB this AM, and voted for Alex bright and early. I sure hope he came up in the polls by tonite (I didn’t check yet), but he wasn’t the top this AM. Hope enough of us vote so we can make him #1 as he is in all of our hearts.

these votings are shit and true blood certainly doesn´t deserve the award best scifi, season 4 was horrible…
and Joe M. nominated, seriously, the guy gets promoted for his body the whole time, its already a travesty that he won at the scream awards, for best newcomer or whatever, and what exactly did he do? certainly not acting…LOL

Well hot body/hot male doesn’t necessarily imply great acting skills. So in this case, the award is somewhat accurate. I don’t think he even has to open his mouth or have any sort of acting skills at all to get nominated. Hell, he could be dipped in honey and frozen and still get nominated.
He’s certainly not my type but he does apply to a certain demographic. Then again, so does Robert Patterson as Edward… what can you do?
My vote goes to Alexander for “Best Male”.

Ugh, how can Doctor Who be in the lead too? There’s another show that has seriously gone down the drain thanks to another writer with a cracked agenda. They need to throw River Song into the Time Vortex, except that it’d probably throw her right back out. There’s another seriously annoying character who took over the show from the lead and ruined it.
The show remains to be very popular, people post about it constantly in Facebook. I feel like I’m the only person who has never actually seen an episode.

I actually kind of like Jessica’s character but not enough to vote for her. I figure she’s overcome the great handicap of having Bill as her maker.
And I voted for Alex. Oh yeah but TB is not getting best show. Sorry TB. There are other Sci-Fi shows that have you beat by miles.
I love Deborah and voted for her because she’s seriously the hottest out of that group, but Jessica lost some points with me last season. Then again, the same could be said for everyone.
I’m willing to cut Jessica more slack than anyone else if only because she’s a baby vamp who was turned at 17 and prior to that had lived a very sheltered life. Bill did her a major disservice as her maker. It was no wonder that her relationship with Hoyt imploded. Yeah, Bill tried to come in in S4 and be all fatherly but it was too late to save her relationship with Hoyt and who cared by then? Jessica had been struggling for long enough.
Stupid Bill. It’s like the neglectful parent who is absent your whole life and then shows up to pay for college. Gee, thanks dad.
Yeah, she’s only been a vampire for a little over a year, and a 17-year-old one at that. I can cut her some slack since she’s still just a kid and has to deal with a horrible maker, but I hate how they just overlooked the whole remaining a virgin thing. That didn’t seem to matter at all when she was with Jason, you’d think he would have at least said something about that. Just another thing this show tends to ignore.
Alex got my vote, along with Deborah and Fringe. There are much better shows than True Blood.
Fringe absolutely. So disappointed they didn’t put Anna Torv from Fringe in the hot female category. I guess smart women can’t be hot?

I voted for Alex, he’s the sexist and Eric is most certainly the best character. But I had to vote of Amy Pond instead of Anna. Sorry, but she’s just much more attractive and a way better actress.

It said Best and Worst. I did not see Stephen Moyer nominated for worst anywhere……. I most certainly would have voted for him to be the worst in everything.
As of now, Alex is second (18.95%) and Rory Williams is leading (28.06%) for Character of the year.

It was probably last season, people actually thought he was more bad ass and that made him seem sexier to them. I still just saw him as a joke, and when compared to Eric, there is no contest.
