It’s only 86 days to Deadlocked, and it will soon be time for the nail biting to begin. During our random checking of Charlaine Harris official web-site, we spied a post from the good lady herself:

Of course we all wish that Sookie will have a very happy birthday, but what are the chances of that? She’ll probably spend it being kidnapped, caught in the middle of a fairy feud, being pulled into shifter/were politics, or fighting against a vampire queen’s unwelcome advances towards her man. Or quite possibly all of the above.
But if we were Sookie and we did manage to get the day off – what would be our birthday wish?
We do have one or two rather naughty ideas, and they mostly revolve around a quiet viking night at home.

Or maybe a wild night out at Hooligans is just what Sookie needs?

A quiet night with the real Eric would be awesome. She had too much action already and it is about time that she slows down and just embrace her Viking and never ever ever let him go. I won’t.
She should absolutely spend the night in with Eric.
But knowing Sookie she’ll be out saving someone and not thinking about herself.
Having a romantic night with her Viking and if they’re in Sweden, watching the Northern Lights
Accepting her Viking as her one and only and spending the night with him on a fur rug in front of her fireplace making love the whole night long….(sigh, wish it was me!!)
Yeah, Eric needs to step it up and take care of his woman! He gets so wrapped up in his business affairs and seems to completely forget about Sookie. He needs to take her away to a tropical hideaway with no cell phones, no vampire business, and a great big light-tight bedroom! ::sigh::
He may have a lot of business or vampire politics to deal with, but he never forgets about her.
Spend it with Eric in bed maybe take her to Sweden have fun Just them two spending the day together with no interruptions . Peace and and lot of love share between them
I think they should go dancing – and later the whole Viking-and-furs-on-the-bed experience.
