Alexander Skarsgard To Ring NASDAQ’s Bell

Director Peter Berg

To all who love to watch the stock market (or have significant others who do), then you better have your DVR’s set to record the opening bell on Monday, Feb. 13!

Global branded play company Hasbro will visit the NASDAQ MarketSite in Times Square to celebrate the upcoming release of Universal Pictures’ epic action-adventure Battleship, inspired by Hasbro’s classic naval combat game.

In honor of the occasion, Brian Goldner, Hasbro President & CEO, along with Battleship’s director, Peter Berg, and one of the film’s stars, Alexander Skarsgård, will ring the opening bell.

Battleship opens in theaters on May 18, 2012.

I wish Alex would ring MY bell too! Oops…did I just say that aloud? LOL I think this could be a great day on the stock market!

Hopefully, we will be able to get our hands on a video of this event, and we’ll share it on here!

What do you think? Does Alex ring your bell too? Share your thoughts below!

  1. Oh ya, he rings my bell!

  2. Now this is going to be really interesting!
Can you just imagine all of the secretaries
and female stockbrokers who will be there?
This is going to make Extra!
And Access Hollywood and all of the
    other shows that report news.
But it’s also going to make CNBC/MSNBC!!

  3. he is doing so many things currently, does that mean he doesn’t have to do that much for TB? Will he get even less screen time than last season and SM is currently shooting and Beel is saving the day? Meh…

    • I think he’s not that much into TB anymore and i completely understand…He says all the time he doesn’t wanna be recognized as Eric Northman… He has a chance to do all these new things and he should do that… He can’t be in TB forever filming only max 10 minutes per episode…

      • as usual i forgot to say something :-D … Last season actually in book 4 Beehl was supposed to be in Peru, but AB found a way to shove his face down our throats, now there’s not so much of Eric as i remember, so let see will AB find a way to do the same thing in this case?

  4. Alex can ring my bell anytime too!!! I hope that hes’ having a great time in NYC ’cause he deserves all the success in the world. I’m glad to see that hes’ come out of hiding once again, as I was going thru withdrawals bad!!!

Even tho he might not get as much screen time in TB as we’d like, at least we know we’ll see him, even if it is only for a few minutes. My fear is that once its’ over, Alex won’t be in as many pics on the big screen since hes’ very selective as to the roles he plays and we won’t get to see him as much. Although I hope that he is in and does many projects after TB, so I still can follow his career.

  5. Great i hope to see it on tv i love him a wonderful actor . I hope he has a great career afterwards i will still follow him with his career even after True blood

  6. “Ring,Ring,Hookah” Oh ya, he definately rings my bell LOL!
