One of our good friends and bloggers has written an eye-opening, jaw-hanging, can’t-believe-they-would-do-this…kind of post! We thought you might find it suspicious too, and wanted to see what you thought about it.
Anyone who is familiar with Facebook, and more specifically True Blood’s and Charlaine Harris’s Facebook pages…might find this familiar too.

Does this page ring any bells? I’m sure anyone who has visited True Blood’s wall is quite familiar with BCAS, and their many repetitive comments, such as; “We concur”, “Y’all”, and the ever more popular, “And for that, we shall never be sorry”.
Hmmm…I have some theories about this…and none of them are very supportive of this page or why they’re choosing to post on Charlaine’s page now, when all you have to do is visit their page, to know what they truly stand for.

I love the books i love the show as well but i do know they are not going by the books exactly they are based on but i do wish it was just like the books then Eric /Sookie would be together a little bit more they truly loved each other and i love the way they made it all come about . I am still a team ERic fan
Really???? I truely feel that this is getting as petty as it can get. After reading the article I do understand why it would get under some peoples’ skin but I’ve always lived by the “live and let live policy” in life and all things re: bookies vs TB. I do feel that the “team” stuff in cute in its’ own right, but I do not believe in pettiness. I choose to just ignore the team Bill fans all to gether.
Why ruffle more feathers this far down the road???? We all know that the books are NOT the gospel as far as AB and the writers of TB are concerned. I, being the Eric fan that I am, of course prefer the books for that reason, but I watch TB with a grain of salt, just because I just adore Alex in the role of Eric.
At this juncture, I feel with only two more books in the series and hopefully at least TB going into a 6th year (fingers and toes crossed…..) The saga and all these debates are almost done and like all shows before it once all the hub-bub dies down maybe a year after its’ all said and done, due to our human nature we will move onto other stories and other shows and life goes on.
I for one, will not ruffle any feathers and just enjoy my time left with my favorite characters.
All these people do is make us look really good, that’s all there is to say about it.
The Group is acting exactly like William Compton in TB – very gentlemanly on the surface but rotten to the core. This is why I am a staunch Eric fan as he never pretended to be anybody else. I love the books because of Eric and I love the show because of Alex as Eric.
omg how sad, you know, they just can’t stand the fact the books are about Sookie and ERIC, and Bill became a background character which was supposed to be killed off.
I agree with Gina, my policy is “live and let live”. I believe there is room for Team Eric and Team Bill fans and I was not even aware of this other BCAS since I live in a strictly Eric/Alex only world! lol I prefer the books and no matter what happens on the show I will adhere to whatever Charlaine Harris decides for Sookie (or make up my own HEA) since Charlaine created her. I don’t always agree with AB and the series but I DO agree that they can’t completely do everything exactly as in the books. What fun would that be if we knew everything that was going to happen? I love some of the additions like Baby Jessica and keeping Lafayette alive. Could have done without the whole Maryann/maenad storyline but I’m sure we all have our good and bad. Shower scene bad…and on and on. I will continue to watch the show as long as Alex is in it and hope they figure out a way to get Sookie back on track before we all go insane!!
I am all for a ‘live and let live’ policy as well but to trash the books and call them ‘dead boring’ and then proceed to thank CH for bringing them Bill? I found that to be an insult on behalf of CH and it was very hypocritical as well.
They love Bill and we love Eric and it should be left at that but to pretend to like a book series just to promote their page is just ‘dead wrong’! Of course maybe we see more of this kind of thing on Facebook than others.
Not right to Mrs. Harris…period…she should be able to pull some rank and do something about them. Yes, they have the right to voice their opinion…but, be respectful to the creator of The Sookie Stackhouse novels…They crossed the line posting on her pages…and they know it…To me their happy face was…what. Childish…proves my point….hey, these girls are obviously at Bills level of functioning…And just as conniving as him and his maker…so now my rant s done and I am thankful that there are some TB and CH fans that are respectful and are intelligent…
Sorry, for the rant…and to Mrs. Harris…when will some women learn….
Wow, a level of trolling I never thought possible. But it does make me laugh – they diss the books, which gave them Bill Compton in the first place? How dumb is that.
this just makes me sick, Can Bill fans be more ridicolous? I always thought those guys are attention seekers, on this site there have also aready been a bunch of bill trolls, and these are the guys alan ball and his brainwashed writers constantly want to please? so sick of this…
