Of course we are disappointed that it didn’t have any Eric or Sookie in the footage. Though it was very refreshing to see some of the Truebie Newbies in action in this little clip.

I have to admit getting excited to see Meloni finally! I have extreme reservations for S5, but at least its Vamp orientated which is something to be grateful for. But I approach TB S5 with extreme caution

I thought the Authority would be more…modern than this. I had some flashback of another movie and moaned ”laaaaame” when I saw this. How unoriginal, quite sad. Sigh.

I have to agree with Katy. This is suppose to be True Blood not Twilight, for crying out load! I swear Alan Ballsack and the writers are just trying to get the show cancelled. If this is what we are getting ,you can bet this will be the last season. And with no more Eric and Sookie, and Beehl and Eric bromance shoved down our throats, I for one don’t really care. I will stick with FF to get my Eric and Sookie fix.
Truthfully, since I am not a Twihard. I had no thoughts of that movie series while watching this clip. I did get the impression that these vamps are definately “old school” by the clip. Either that or it is a flashback to the beginning of the Authority. 1. by the way they are dressed in cloaks and 2. the spelling of Vampyr instead of the modern spelling being used in the title.
I thought the clip was either of an induction of a member into the Authority or it was a “communion” of sorts promoting loyality to the head vamp, Roman. By the way, I thought that Chris looks very hot with fangs and is giving us some more TB eye candy for our viewing pleasure. Although no one could ever take the place of Eric……..(sigh).
I am very happy that they are now starting to release some real teaser trailers for the fast approaching season!!!!! Can’t wait to see what happens.

I watched Law & Order: SVU and I loved Chris Meloni.
Detective Elliot Stabler was a great character, and
Chirs was wonderful in the part.
When it was announced that he was coming to TB I really liked it.
Same for Maute Baule,he was wonderful in Spartacus on showtime.
That was an initiation ceremony into the vampire club, awesome news that Chris is now apart of the exciting true blood series, I can’t wait to see which role he plays in the Authority I have nothing against Allan, he is a true genius, I always thought the books where in complete, Sookie is a brainless twit in the books, but the show sets her above the rest…Anna P, has given her character a life in this world, & Alex S, has too… I would love for them to stay together (on the show), and King Bill continue taking a step back, even to observe them, as he is the weakest link with Sookie… real love doesn’t just go away, or find some one else to attach themselves to, the ending of season 5 was a let down, but I am still curious where this will lead to in season 6…p.s. I am glad Sam M got Luna at the end, it was worth the wait..thanks

Covens still have similar initiation ceremony’s, this is not something that I associate with twilight or other movie’ s, sure they have scene’s in there in a similar nature but TB is not the same, the new player’s/ character’s will be a blast, like being re-VAMPed!
lol what show have you watched and what books have you read, its exactly the other way round, TB Sookie is brainless and constantly needs help, most of the women on the show are just weak bystanders to their men, the lates example for that is Pam, she is behaving like a jealous brat, in the books she is so strong, the strongest female charcter…
and the fact that Bill is the main guy on the show, season 4 had bill all over the place unlike in the books in which eric and sookie are the main couple… Bills face was even in their first love scene on the show yuck… and if you think that bill is taking a step back lol, never happen in Alan balls Bill love fanfiction called “True Bill”…
ITA, they will find a way to keep the ugly accessory relevant, that’s why it seems he will be attached to the Viking in that so called “bromance”…. NO, No me gusta…. me don’t likey….
