HBO have just released a short summer promo featuring all their top shows and movie highlights for the coming season, including of course True Blood.
There’s not a lot of anything new with regard to Sookie and Eric, although they both briefly appear. However it does look like when Bill is away Jessica is going to play, as the young vampire seems to be throwing a party at the Compton Residence and whilst Jason looks like he can play a mean Guitar Hero, my personal party highlight looks like it’s going to be the Reverend Vampire Steve Newlin and his dainty dance moves. Check them out around the 40 seconds mark and dare to tell me you didn’t smile just a little bit because I damn well know you did!

Got to love Steve Newlin, but why a shot of Bill alone and not Eric? AB and HBO just keeps pushing the bore who’s ambition is being a third grade teacher. I’d lose my mind if I had to be with someone that lame.
I also just don’t get it its obvious people prefer eric, but still they always always have to show ‘Bill, do they even care for the fans? it seems like they don’t give a damn… another reason to hate AB
I pretty much loathe Bill too, but that one promo that was released a while back had tons of Eric in it, and this snippet of Bill was less than half a second.

All in all, it was an OK clip. I did like the party scenes with Newlin mincing around dancing….LOL. Looks like when the cats’ away the mice will play. I can’t believe its’ still one week til the 10th. It seems like we’ve waited for June for forever.
It seems Newlin might be more fun now that he’s a vampire, the dance moves definitely had me laughing.

I am really worried at the moment, there are going around some spoilers, that eric and NOra are basically having sex in the first episode…hope this is not true:( it would be too soon and it would be just another reason to hate AB, he seems to like to make fun on us:(
i just read that too… WTF… this season it will be the worst season of all,for us ,Eric and Sookie Lovers….Just hope that in the end of this season eric and sookie will get together somehow…or something…
There are some lucky fans out there who have seen the first episode at the premiere. They were asked to keep it to themselves but I guess some of them couldn’t resist. We can’t officially comment on this stuff on the blog – which I’m sure you guys understand. Whatever goes down – we’ll be here to get through it together! **deep breath**
I am going to echo Evie here in that we can’t officially comment in this because 1. We have not seen it ourselves and 2. if we had, then we would be sworn to secrecy as well. This is especially a good habit to keep if one happens to run a website that would like to continue to get a hold of goodies!

Yes, others appear to not care about not spilling the beans and rumors do spread very fast. We know nothing though as none us were at the premiere so we cannot confirm or deny….lol!

I just want to reiterate what both Nymerias and Evie said. We don’t know anything about these rumors because we weren’t at the premiere ourselves. Besides the fact that it’s all heresy, so it might not be as bad as those rumors make them appear to be. If it happens we’ll deal with it together. *group hug*
I totally agreed w/ you,I don’t think it happens in ep 1. Probably it’ll happen in ep2 after they kissed in ep1,But he will freak out because he can’t get Sookie off his mind. Maybe they putted it in the movie at the red carpter premire.
yes I heard that A. Ball doesn’t want to see Eric and Sookie together anymore, Sookie will stay with Alcide……that is a sheet…the books are better
Geez ladies, even if Eric has sex with Nora in the 1st eppy its’ no big thing. I mean every soap has its’ drama and angst going on. I mean I’d be more upset if it was happening during eppy 12, cause then I’d have no hope left til next season. I mean a lot can happen between eppy 1 and 12. Don’t get yourselves all cranked up before it even starts.
I want Eric and Sookie together as badly as everyone else, but right now, I’ll take Eric naked with anyone, I mean he’ll be naked with Pam too in the flashback.
It reminds me of that one saying that Jason came out with last season, he said “a brothers gotta do what a brothers gotta do”. Well, I apply that same idea to “True Blood is gonna do what True Blood is gonna do” and sadly there isn’t a whole heck of alot that we can do about it.
I say, don’t get your panties in a bunch right off the bat and see what happens……

That would explain the clip a while back of Eric shirtless and looking regretful, that means he would be having sex with Nora while Bill is standing right there watching like a creeper. The more I hear, the more I just don’t care for this season.

Okay, that doesn’t sound anything like Eric. He doesn’t freak out about sex, he might be somewhat regretful because he still has feelings for Sookie, but that’s all it is. And I don’t recall this preview of someone standing over her bed, that was in season 4.
I really loved that promo. Newlin did look funny as hell! It would be a hoot if Russell fell for him wouldn’t it!?
