Bloody Predictions: Week 4

And the competition is turning serious with our 4th round of Bloody Predictions. Don’t worry… we haven’t resorted to throwing things yet.  :)

Episode 3 was very nice to all of us… just not easy for us on the points front. It was painful for me as I was a week early and media format short… I had predicted on week 2 that video of Andy naked would end up online (on the show). It was a picture on Facebook  during week 3. And thanks to your votes, Erika’s points about the episode 2 Eric and Pam flashback will be determined at the end of the season.

But that is week 2, lets see how we did on round 3…

Nymerias collects 10 points this week, missing out on Eric releasing Pam. Unless she meant something else by “release”… O.o

I (B) get to collect the full 15. While I didn’t see it myself because i was busy watching, @TrueBloodHBO tweeted out that Pam and Tara were trending.

Evie will collect 10 points now… but we will need to wait till the end of episode 4 to see if Pam changes her mind on helping Sookie to determine her last prediction.

Erika is collecting 8 points. She was spot on about Bill and Lorena being the murders at the brothel for 5. She will get partial credit for Eric and Pam having sex in the flashback, we just didn’t see it.

Giving us each a total of:

  • Evie = 36*
  • B = 33
  • Erika = 33*
  • Nymerias = 20

Whew, its pretty close and we have 9 more episodes to go to determine a winner!

Let’s lock our predictions in for episode 4 and see how well we do this coming Sunday.

Nymerias:

  1. Eric will release Pam
  2. Someone gets staked (hopefully the teacup vampire)
  3. Tara will have her first drink from a human

B:

  1. Nora will live … err be undead.. for another day (wont be killed)
  2. Jason will try to protect Sookie
  3. Tara will be able to change clothes before the end of the episode

Erika:

  1.  Eric will give Pam shit for turning Tara.
  2. Alcide will forgive Sookie for killing Debbie.
  3. Sookie will get drunk because she feels guilty over Debbie’s death and Tara’s turning

Evie:

  1.  Eric won’t release Pam.
  2. Sookie will kiss Alcide.
  3. Jason won’t turn Sookie in

What do you think?  Did we miss the post wide left?

And if you are playing along with us, let us know how you are doing!

About B

Really, there is never enough Eric... I'm loyal to the Viking, no matter what. I will love him whether in Book, Show, and just because... my first thoughts are of him and I close my eyes to dream of him. As far as I'm concerned, the night can not get here soon enough.

  1. Eric better not release Pam, I’ll be really pissed off.

  2. B, I think you guys are pretty right on with your predictions. Theres’ no way Jason is going to arrest Sookie and Sookie is going to tie one on after all the shit i.e. Tara’s turning and killing Debbie. Yes, I believe she will kiss Alcide but I think that’ll be all (I hope!!).

I’m with you Tammy on the Eric thing. He’d better not release Pam, although he looked pretty pissed about Tara. Although he looked pretty glum about everything it seems.

I’m looking forward to Sunday night to see what happens.

  3. I think Eric will be pissed at Pam thinking she let Russell out but then come to his senses won’t release Pam and they make up

Sookie will get drunk from all the drama going on in her life then will kiss Alcide but will be interupted by Eric and Bill showing up to get her to help with Russell

I think that little kid will get staked by Roman because they believe he is sanganista

    • I still can’t believe Eric would accuse her of setting Russell free, it’s just ridiculous. I have a feeling Bill put the idea in his head, but why Eric would listen to anything he says is beyond me. I think you might be correct about Sookie kissing Alcide right as they show up at her house, oh, I actually really want this to happen…lol! I could just imagine how awkward that would be for everyone. And I hope that kid gets staked because he’s damn annoying, they could have found a better actor. I’ve always hated that idea, anyway. No one should be turning kids.

      • Only four people knew what they did with Russell (so they think) and that was Eric, Bill, Alcide and Pam so I think he was simply asking her if she dug Russell up. I know he should trust that she did not do that and I did not write the show. If I wrote it, I would never Sookie forgive Bill that easy and I would write in a plot later where Bill is the one who killed her parents on one of his thrill kills that he enjoyed so much. lol

        • I still say he killed her Gran, but I’m guessing the show will never go in that direction. Eric didn’t just ask her, I think on some level maybe he was doing it because the Authority still has tabs on him. We know that the iStake is still attached to his chest. I have to hope that’s the case, and he wouldn’t really think she was behind it.

  4. It saddens me but Eric releasing Pam, has been my prediction for about 2 weeks now. Watching the preview, which seemed more like a spoiler. Confirmed it. For me anyhow.

    • They still didn’t show him accepting, so I have to hope he won’t. There’s still that sweet scene involving them that I believe is in this episode, when he tells Pam she was born into greatness. I don’t see him releasing her because of that, but I just really hope he doesn’t. Although, nothing would surprise me anymore. They’re determined to make us hate him.

  5. I think that Pam has already been released :SWasn’t she just asked by Eric to help out in Fangtasia and was pleased to do so and just be with her maker? (am I confusing TB with the books? :P )
And if she’s NOT released yet, well I think once you’re a maker yourself it’s a bit odd not to be released :)

    • Yeah, I think that was just the books. I don’t know if it was mentioned on the show or not, but I guess she’s not released if Pam asks him to do it. I just really hope he doesn’t, whether she’s a maker now or not. They need each other.

  6. After reading some of these spoilers recently….unfortunately I believe Sookie with take Alcide to bed and not just kiss him even though she is drunk…..not something I am looking forward to watching but I know it would happen eventually.
I didn’t like Eric screwing Nora or Salome either so I am just disappointed in the direction Alan Ball is going in…..but its Alan Ball fan fiction.

    • Yeah, but it helps knowing she had to be drunk in order to have sex with him. I still don’t know if they go all the way yet, but whatever happens, I have a feeling that’s the exact moment when Eric and Bill show up.

      • yeah I think this is going to happen too, it seems to be a common thing on true blood that there always has to be someone interrupting. Like last season when every Eric Sookie love scene hat either Bills face in it or he was interrupting them *eyeroll*; well in the case of Alcide its better if it happens but still just mad about balls bill crush.

        • Sookie’s sex scenes always get interrupted in general, I think it’s a common thing on this show. Even Eric interrupted her and Bill once in season 2 before they could go at it, so of course he would be the center of attention with any of theirs.

        • I do think Ball likes the character of Bill but not in the way many think. Bill is a very dark, twisty character and Ball himself has made him that way. Have you seen this:
          http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lx96yfdcW21r0wjy3o1_1280.jpg

The direct comparison/parallel to Sookie’s former abuser is pretty blatant. Ball also wrote ep. 3.12, which is when this Bill/Sookie scene occured. It was deliberately set up, from the costumes to the direction, to mirrow the Sookie/Uncle Bartlett scene. That’s not something you do if you think this character is noble, good, or a hero.

  7. Isn’t it great that we all think alike in the fact that Eric had better not release Pam. We must remember that this is Alan Ballsack’s fan fiction, and he has a boner for Beehl. Of course Eric will want to release Pam, and Beehl will try and talk him out of it. Beehl to the rescue again. Ya, I know I sound crazy but the show and AB are driving me there!

    • I don’t know about that, if anything, I think Bill is the one who puts in Eric’s head that Pam could have set Russell free. Even when they try to make him all heroic, he comes off as a douche.

      • Because he is a douche….plain and simple….no matter what they try to do he is always looking out for himself …he will turn against Eric at the season ends we all know that!

        • Exactly, you can’t make a douche look like a hero, no matter what you do. If that is their goal, they are completely failing at it.

      • Are they trying to make Bill come of heroic? I don’t see it. I think they are trying to show Bill as self-serving: of course he rushes off to try and save Sookie, he wants Sookie for himself. Bill is about Bill, always. He’s always hiding something, always has another agenda.
