We know it’s all about the lists in Hollywood and where our favorite stars rank. The folks over at TV guide have posted in their August 13th edition what some of the hottest stars in a TV Drama make per episode.

While not at the top of this list… $200,000 per True Blood episode is not to shabby 
Of course, this article would have been off the charts if they had used a picture of Alex in their photo montage. They probably could not handle his hotness at this time.

Glad to see that all three principle actors on TB are making the same amount per eppy. I’d say that that alone give Alex some cred, as hes’ not the low man on the totem pole. Although when you think of it, it probably kind of evens out since TB is only 12 eppys and some of the others are 24 eppy shows.
with that thought of 12 vs 24 episodes, HBO is cheap.
But this is all good
I’m just glad to see that Anna and Stephen aren’t getting more than him, he’s the one who holds this show together.
And if he’s making as much as them, then his name should be at least third in the credits and contracts be damned. Just sayin’… Congrats Alex!!
LOL… ironically Im ok where he is in the credits now. From a budget/CG perspective it was the easiest place to promote his name to on that roll of film.

Good to see Alex earns just as much as them (on True Blood 
) otherwise there would be a riot. Shame there’s no pic included. He’s being paid as much as the so called ”lead characters”, then make him one officially damn it and don’t always focus on Sookie and beehl!
If you ask me, the show hardly even focuses on Sookie anymore. It’s all about Bill, which most people could care less about. Now we have to watch Eric and possibly Sookie help him save his humanity, which doesn’t even exist.
Sadly, I agree… It’s such a shame. The SVM is all about Sookie (we get everything from her point of view in the books) and the vamps and then about the other supes. On True Blood on the other hand It seems to be first about the vamps and other supes, and then oh yeah, Sookie- these days at least.
considering he is the main reason why most people are watching this show its kind of a shame he gets less than them and of course they had to use the picture of the main couple again *eyeroll*

As for the picture *points to my comments above*. I still think they cant handle the hotness of a solo picture of him.
alex should definitely be officially named as one of the lead characters especially when they’re paid the same amount of money
at least they moved forward his name in the credits before they start with alphabetical order but how can tara (rutina) be before alex in the credits?
Hey guys… what he is lacking in title… he is getting in honors.
Think about the last 2 premieres, Alex arrives literally right before Anna and Stephen. This past year, it was pretty instantaneous. In the language of the red carpet, that tells you how high in the totem pole he is.
Or maybe he’s just a punctual guy
LOL. Makes me happy to know no matter what Alan Ball says about soulmates–he knows who the real draw–and star–of True Blood is. Cuz I guarantee Alexander workded his way up to their salary through his charismatic, addictive performance–he certainly didn’t start there.
