Dead Ever After UK Cover Revealed

Gollancz UK have today officially unveiled the UK cover for the final Sookie Stackhouse novel Dead Ever After. As usual with the UK cover it revolves around a red blood splatter, this time with a sexy Sookie silhouette!

The UK publisher has also added a nice little description of Sookie and her world, just to wet our appetites even more.

Sookie Stackhouse has one last adventure in store.

Life has taken her from a waitress in Merlotte’s Bar, Bon Temps, to part owner; from social outcast to the heart of her community; from a vampire’s girlfriend to the wife of one of the most powerful vampires in the state. She has survived earthquakes, revolutions and attempts on her life. Sookie has endured betrayal, heartbreak and grief . . . and she has emerged a little stronger, and little wiser, every time.

But with life comes new trials . . .

The question is, in the end: who will love, who will live, and who will be dead ever after?

We especially love this bit - “from a vampire’s girlfriend to the wife of one of the most powerful vampires in the state”.

So only 6 months to go until we find out who will live, who will love and who will be dead ever after!

  2. I just loved their little summary of the book, worded very well. Especially the last line. My thought on the UK release date, do you think its’ possible they will be releasing it abroad a week later than here in the States?

Whatever it is, I will say that this is one of the longest 6 months I’ve ever experienced!!
Its’ so bittersweet, I want to know and don’t want to know how the books end, but in the very words of our beloved Eric, “Nothing lives forever even the immortals”.

  3. I love the description of the series! I love the cover too, but i like the colorful ones more. Can wait to get my hands on it!

  4. I think the UK covers are pretty boring compared to the US ones.

  5. [...] in the UK (and usually in Australia as well) when the book comes out on May 7, 2013! Check it out here and tell us what you [...]
