With another round down, we are another step closer to crowning our winning quote… and the winners of our SIGNED copies of Deadlocked.
I have to admit… in our last round, you all had to make some tough decisions between our quotes. In fact, some of our Top 32 round polls had a difference of only a few votes between quotes.
One of our notable quotes not going through from our “C” bracket is:
“Did we have sex?” he asked directly.
For about two minutes, this might actually be fun. “Eric, we had sex in every position I could imagine, and some I couldn’t. We had sex in every room in my house, and we had sex outdoors. You told me it was the best you’d ever had. Too bad you can’t remember it,” I concluded with a modest smile.
Sadly, not all of them could be “sweet”… 16.
But which of these 16 quotes are worthy of being “Elite”?

It is really hard to choose when comedic lines are pared with lines from sentimental or pivotal moments!
So true! I completely agree. I think i mostly went with the sentimental ones though.

I guess you should vote based on which quotes mean the most…funny or not.
I went with sentimental, especially with one book left that might end in disappointment, it’s good to look back at the sweet moments.

I’m guessing most of us ultimately went with the more meaningful quotes, but boy did I struggle with some of those! It definitely wasn’t my intention to criticize, Erika, I was just voicing my frustration with my own indecision.
That’s fine, I knew what you meant. The further along we go, the harder it will be.
There’s just too many great Eric and Sookie quotes to decide only one…
Definitely! It’s really fun to see all the great quotes together, and then to see what everyone picks. I can’t wait for some new classic quotes! Is it May yet?
