Spoiler TV have just announced the title for True Blood Season 6, Episode 5 and some casting snippets. You know the drill by now, don’t look below if you don’t want to know!
The title of Epsiode 5 will be “F**k the pain away”, and the writer will be Angela Robinson (already writing episode 2 “Here comes the sun”).
The title of True Blood episode 6.05 is “F**k the Pain Away” and several recurring, guest star, and co-star roles are being cast: recurring guest star Finn, who is a middle-aged prison psychiatrist; three mean recurring/possibly recurring Prison Guards; guest star Justin, who is surprised when his Marine Corps buddy Terry contacts him with a strange request; guest star Jenny, a hooker who’s also a werewolf and will be in 2 episodes; a co-starring truck stop bar Customer, who doesn’t like Alcide’s curiosity; and Somchai, a co-starring beautiful Thai woman who is used to get vampires to participate in therapy. (I may be wrong, but from the role descriptions it sounds like vampires might be put in prison and given therapy.)
Much mention of prison in this one. Hopefully our poor Viking won’t be endlessly trapped where he doesn’t want to be again this coming season!
And what’s Terry up to? Mark Hudis has promised less storylines under his reign as Show-runner so where will Terry fit in? I guess it’s too much to hope for that he has the Eric/Niall connection that he has in the books……..yeah it probably is!
As for the title song, well all I’ve got is a song by Peaches, which you can listen to here if you want to, but I should warn you that the lyrics are very explicit!

Well, color me confused???? What the hell is up with THAT song????? Doesn’t sound like anything they would use on TB to me. This season at this point sounds trashed to me!!! (Can you tell, I’m not the least bit happy with what I just read and listened to….)
Well, enough of a meltdown from me Evie, let me take a deep breath and try and compose myself (in with the good, out with the bad—breathe, breathe).
OK, now I think I’m settled a bit. Wow, doesn’t sound like there is going to be much Eric storyline in this eppy at all, unless you’re right and Eric gets stuck in the middle of some more shit and hes’ one of the vamps stuck in this situation. What I have been gathering with some of the stuff I’d heard on the web, it sounds like this season is going to be kinda heavy on the Alcide stuff with his pack and stuff. Not going to go over too good with us diehard E&S shippers thats’ for sure.
At this point, I will say that I hope and pray this season shapes up better than what I’ve been hearing, otherwise we all can kiss Season 7 goodbye……………… (runs from ‘puter to gain my composure).

Here’s an alternate title by just changing a single word:

This popped into my mind after checking in to see what season 6 is shaping up to be. Somewhere I read Bill fans would be happy after episode 2, somewhere else I saw a picture from filming showing Billiths’s house. Numerous posts about the new cast of thousands and mostly boring sounding claptrap about characters I could care less about (Alcide, Billith, some governor, etc, etc, etc.). Not a peep about Eric or Sookie, other than some quest for Warlow for Sookie. Hoooo Hummm so far!! I smell AB all over this. I suspect like the past 3 seasons we will be treated to naked Eric, probably banging some random person in episode one then very little after that. This prison thing sounds like a rerun of “I’m stuck in this damn boring Authority basement and can’t ever, ever get out episode after episode for the whole damn season” or “can someone please buy me some quality screentime”! Sorry but I’m not hooked in at all yet!
I don’t go by anything I read, we’re usually shown something completely different. I just wait to see what happens first and if it’s still crap, I won’t bother with a 7th season.
I like the song, I heard the song couple time. It`s a pretty good song, it sounds like a song where eric & so okie, hopefully ends up saving her from Ben & rekindles their relationship at the ep.
I think Pam, Tara, & Jessica will get captured & puts into a prison.
Maybe the bar costumer saw Alcide butt naked like The Terminator.
Or maybe he`s recruiting werewolves.
But wtf?!!! :O I thought we were done with the smoke demon cr*p. I thought Terry took care of last season!!!
Maybe Sookie is Abducted by Warlow in Episode 3, rescued by Eric who marries her for her protection in Episode 4, I’m Your Man, and then Eric applies A-one lovemaking therapy in F**king The Pain Away!

Yes Lori, I like your therory too. The song could be for Eric trying to “F**k the pain away” after being turned away by Sookiie again. I really hope not, but we all know how the writers , on the show think
It probably doesn’t have to do with either of them, I don’t really give titles much thought. For the most part, it’s never what you think.

I’m not sure…you’d have to have your agent/manager get in contact with HBO and/or the makers of True Blood. All we have access to – is the casting calls themselves. We post them here so we can speculate about what’s going to happen during the season.

The only thing I heard that was even remotely positive was that Joe M. said that with Alcide becoming packmaster he would have access to other love interests (or something along those lines). Hopefully that means they’re done with the Alcide/Sookie storyline.
