Alexander Skarsgård on Jimmy Fallon 5/3/13

Alexander Skarsgård appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon while in New York promoting the premiere of his new movie, “What Maisie Knew”.

In the interview Alex talks about his bird tattoo, how they still like to roll out his grandmother for special occasions, What Maisie Knew, and a little bit about True Blood!

Unfortunately, we weren’t able to embed the video player into this post, but you can watch the video on the link below.

As for the interview itself…love how Jimmy remembered how Alex and his family likes to ‘roll’ out his grandmother for special occasions, and the tattoo story was cute too! (Although my husband guessed Alex’s brother had forgotten all about it…LOL)

  1. Saw Alexander on Jimmy Fallon last night.
he looked good as always~ but the photo above he looks a bit tired?
Loved how he told what happened when Valter saw the tattoo of the bird he
had drawn on Alex’s leg~ Valter’s reaction was “I drew THAT!?!?

  2. He sounded absolutely drained, his voice sounded sooooooooo tired. I actually felt sorry for him. I guess he must have partied hard (and late) at the after party for WMK.
The only thing was, he wasn’t on long enough, there were too many guests last nite so therefore, none of them had more than one short segment which I wish could have been longer especially the Alex interview.

I give credit to Jimmies’ researcher so Jimmie remembered to ask about Grannies’ Rollouts….LOL that was cute as was the story about Alexs; tat. I loved it. But, other than that, they really didn’t have a enough time to speak about WMK or anything, so I guess I felt a little cheated.

Other than that, I always love to see (read look at…LOL) Alex anytime!!!

  3. These interviews are never long enough, but I thought he was adorable. I love when he danced a little as he came out, yeah, he totally needs to be on Ellen. That would be really awesome, it’s the only talk show I watch religiously.

  4. Redthang:
He’s never really given enough time~ the show I’d love to see him on is,
“Inside the Actor’s Studio, with James Lipton”.
Now that’s a interview, I’d love to watch! that’s an hour show.
AND he asks wonderful questions of his guests!!!
I agree that Alexander did look a bit tired/and sounded a bit drained.

  5. I saw it. He wasn’t on nearly long enough!

  6. Enjoyed the entirely to short segment with Alex, but I have a huge problem with the interview shows he appears on. In my estimation Jimmy Fallon’s and Kelly and Whoever’s shows are just plain boring and really silly. Granted I have only watched these shows the two times Alex has been on each, but other then Alex the shows were stupid.

    • This is why he needs to be on Ellen, that is the only talk show I watch religiously and it’s never boring.

  7. […] As you know, Alex appeared in NYC for the premiere of his movie, “What Maisie Knew”! Check out the press day and premiere pics, red carpet videos, and an interview with Inquistor.com, where Alex talks about “What Maisie Knew” and True Blood! 8. Pull the pants DOWN, Alex, not UP.
