About B

Really, there is never enough Eric... I'm loyal to the Viking, no matter what. I will love him whether in Book, Show, and just because... my first thoughts are of him and I close my eyes to dream of him. As far as I'm concerned, the night can not get here soon enough.

  1. Season 3 to me was pretty good, I loved the introduction of Russell, IMO he is still the best of the baddies. This was the season that showed us Erics’ Viking past in flashback and also his devious “eye for an eye” revenge taken out on Russell via Talbot. The eppy
when he and Russell walk in the sunlight and fry. I pretty much loved all of season 3 even when Eric told Sookie that he never cared about her (which we all knew was a lie he told to convince Russell he was on his side) etc. All in all to me a pretty great season in the long run!

  2. Season 3 was my absolute favorite. You had the surprise naked Eric in the first episode along with his realization of his feelings for Sookie as things progressed. Bill finally showing us his true colors first with partying so viciously with Russell and Lorena.
Then his actions in the back of the truck with Sookie and in the end when he admitted his reasons for seeking her out. The presence of the dynamic Talbolt and the delightful James Franco character. The introduction of Russell as the best bad guy ever with the best speech in the whole series. The Eric/Sookie first kiss. Even Sookie being taken to Fairy was an ending no one expected (A finale which left breathless and wanting more. I called into work for the first episode of season 4 because the season 3 finale grabbed me so.) An absolutely first rate season. Even the uneven Werewolf aspect did not taint it too much for me. In my opinion this was the pinnacle of the series. Nothing has topped it since.

  3. This is possibly my favourite season, if season 6 had ended better it might have taken the crown, but I’m just re-watching season 3 right now and it is completely awesome. It’s vampire heavy with all my favourite fangers – Eric, Russell, Talbot, Franklin, QSA. I even didn’t mind the were-wolves. You also got the big Bill reveal and the audience just knew that Eric and Sookie were heading towards “something happening” between them. I always think of it as the season when Eric took over and became the main reason everyone watched the show :)

  4. The best season by far to me. I loved all of it ..

  5. I don’t remember how many times I have watched the second and the last three episodes of this season…Really they are my favourites :)…

  6. I can’t say it was the best season just for the fact that Bill nearly drained Sookie and she still took him back. She was going to do it again after he admitted to killing Eric, if Eric never showed up and told her the truth, she would have. It was at that point where I realized everything will always lead back to Bill no matter what he does, nothing else I’ve seen since has shown me otherwise. That I think is when the show started going downhill for me.

  7. […] it would be Season 4 of True Blood. Please score till your hearts content like you have done for Season 3 … I am sure you see the method to my madness […]
