Vulture tells us “Who is HBO’s biggest asshole?”

In a post by Vulture.com, they list out who they think “Who HBO’s biggest asshole?” character is. Or the more PC term of “Anti Hero”.

While Game of Thrones Joffrey takes the top honor as Top Asshole most deservedly

Our favorite bad ass vamp Eric Northman was listed at number 8.

Here is what they had to say about our beloved Viking

8. True Blood asshole: Eric (Alexander Skarssgard)
Especially in early seasons, Eric was a suave jerk, a sexual predator, a captor, and a torturer — but goddamn, that is one good-looking jerk. As the show’s gone on, he’s shown a slightly softer side, and his pouty “Sookie” is far sweeter than Bill’s huffy pronunciation.

Eric & Sookie In Canada’s Weekly Forecast

Found this interesting article on Canada.com. This is taken from their Weekly Forecast column, where they tell you what’s up-and-coming in the latest Movies, TV and Music!

They had a very nice Eric & Sookie mention which we think you’ll like! ;)

Big event: True Blood (June 26, HBO Canada, 9 ET/PT)

Big picture: So a vampire, a witch and a fairy walk into a bar . . . I know, it sounds like the premise to an off-colour joke at the local Monster Mash, but it sums up this supernaturally charged series in a nutshell. Season 4 finds Sookie (Anna Paquin) wrestling with her fairy heritage and finding her romantic world complicated by the increased presence of vampire Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard), while her former undead bed buddy, Bill (Stephen Moyer), finds himself with new power and influence.

Forecast: Witches are the new werewolves in Season 4. Given the series’ third, fur-filled season was less of a howl, this could be the blood infusion the series needs. Plus, more Eric and Sookie – and less of Bill’s breathy, brooding come-on lines – are more than welcome. For True Blood fans, the early signs indicate the new season has tapped the same creative vein as in Season 1, which was its finest to date.

True Blood Season 3 DVD/Blu-ray Tops Sales Charts

Good news!

True Blood Season 3 DVD and Blu-ray topped the sales charts for the week ending June 5th! :D

True Blood: The Complete Third Season debuted at No. 1 on both the Nielsen VideoScan First Alert sales chart and Nielsen’s dedicated Blu-ray Disc sales chart. Sales were so strong that the season two set, released a year ago, returned to the overall disc sales chart as well, bowing at No. 9. Season one, released in May 2009, also is back on the chart, at No. 14.

Wait…there’s more exciting news!

True Blood also made the Top 10 in DVD rentals – according to Rentrak Corporation!

Personally, I think the first one is ruined because of Bill and Alcide in it…I would’ve preferred to have only Eric & Sookie! ;) But it’s still hot overall…Sookie is one lucky woman!

Neko Case & Nick Cave Take Cover In True Blood Premiere

Hey Eric & Sookie Lovers!  :)

True Blood  has recruited Neko Case and Nick Cave to cover the Zombies’ “She’s Not There” for the show’s Season 4 premiere. The song will close the episode.


”You always want to serve the show, but in the back of my mind I’m always thinking about the soundtrack,” music supervisor Gary Calamar told Billboard. “The key to a good soundtrack is having fresh recordings.”

The episode of True Blood will also be called “She’s Not There” and will air on June 26th!

Not sure of what this song sounds like?  You can view the Zombie’s version of it down below!

Waiting Sucks Featuring Pam

Sorry we haven’t posted much this weekend. My computer crashed and I’ve had to redo everything. UGH!!  :roll: :?   The good news is I haven’t lost everything! :)

Better late, than never…HBO released another Waiting Sucks promo/trailer (of course I miss it because of my computer :roll: ) featuring Pam!

Anna Paquin & Stephen Moyer in Celebs Magazine

Hey Eric & Sookie Lovers! :)

Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer were featured in the February 6, 2011 edition of Celebs in the UK’s Sunday Mirror Magazine.

In the article, Anna and Stephen talk about their sex scenes together, their engagement and wedding of last August.  They also discuss their new fame and the paparazzi following them all over. Since this is a British magazine, and Season 3 is airing there right now, its the focus of much of the article.

Stephen stated that he thinks his real-life relationship with Anna has made their on-screen love scenes in True Blood easier – because the cameramen are more relaxed filming them. After they shot the pilot for the vampire TV show, the pair started dating in 2007 and then went on to marry last year.

And he is sure that their romance has made shooting racy scenes for the programme an easier task for the crew as he mentions below:

‘Everybody on set now gets to see what goes on behind closed doors – we leave nothing to the imagination. ’Our love scenes actually work really well. Since the crew knows we do have chemistry and are together in real life, I feel it takes away from the nerve-wracking tension that can occur when people have to watch two actors who are just getting to know each other engage in an intimate scene.’

Alex was on the cover of King Magazine (a Swedish mens’ magazine) back in July of 2005! :D Unfortunately, this issue is SOLD OUT – you can’t order any back issues of it. :(
